Our Commitment

Gringo (operated by Reger Digital LLC) is a dating platform strictly for adults aged 18 and older. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind.

Age Verification

Every user must verify their age during registration. Our face verification system uses AWS Rekognition to detect and reject profiles that appear to be minors. Users under 18 are blocked from creating an account.

Identity Verification

Before a profile can appear, the person must take a live selfie holding a randomly chosen hand sign that is issued seconds earlier. The photo is checked automatically for a single clearly visible adult face, and is then matched against their main profile photo. A profile whose photo does not match the verified face is refused. The random sign means a saved or stolen photograph cannot be used to pass.

Reporting

Users can report any profile or content directly within the app. Reports are reviewed promptly. Any content or account involving minors is immediately removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant authorities.

Zero Tolerance Policy

The Platform has a strict zero tolerance policy against child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any user found sharing, requesting, or promoting CSAM will be permanently banned and reported to law enforcement immediately.

Content Moderation and Reporting

Every main profile photo is checked automatically before a profile becomes visible, and is matched to the verified face of the account holder. Users can report any profile, photo or message from inside the app, and can contact us at any time through Help & Support without leaving the app. Reports are reviewed by a person. Any account involving a minor is removed immediately, preserved as required by law, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the relevant authorities.
